I have found the problem and want to thank you for your help. Our server was set up with a custom header to emulate ie7 (style issues for old browsers). That was causing external requests with IE9 to be seen as IE7 and the replace code was not getting executed. Damn, how simple. I'm not sure why that custom header is not being sent for internal requests, but I don't care any more. I'm moving on to other things now. Thank you again!

I have dropped a test page that does not have the rotating banners. Can you please tell me if this looks ok or is stretching: http://www.wakehealth.edu/testsifr.aspx

For me, it is stretched. Thank you.

The static divs are also not working. The part of the home page that now says "new pediatric emergency department" was longer last week and was stretching like the banner text.

ignore adjustheights() is a function that sets the heigth of leftbar/content/rightbar of the page.

I think it may be a problem realated to the sifr in "next slides" that are not yet visible..
was the first slide looking good and the next not?
a good test is to try to put multiline text in static div (not in slider) and see if you get the same error..

Nevermind, I found it and it doesn't look like anything that would help me. I don't know what else to try.

Your site looks fine for me.

What is (and where is) the adjustheights() function you have included in ridisegna?

Please try to compare the settings in this site: <a href="http://www.fidindustria.eu/it/news/controgaranzie--rinnovata-la-convenzione-con-il-fei.aspx?idC=61708&idO=11383&LN=it-IT" rel="nofollow">here</a>
The big blue heading is multiline, maybe it can help look at the code, also tell me if you can see it right.
(sorry but is still in developement.. so the code it may be look a little bad).

Not for me. All the text that appears in the rotating banners is getting stretched. We have changed all our page titles and section headers to fit on one line, so the problem is not visible there any more. I have two pc's on my desk, one connected to our internal network, the other to an outside ISP. From inside, the site looks fine. But from the external ISP (and home), I see the stretched text. Frustrating!
